Aku'aba figure

Aku’aba figures are found commonly in and around Ghana, particularly amongst the Ashanti people. They are carried by women on their backs, similar to Ibeji figures in that respect at least, but they are worn to help a woman become pregnant or ensure the well being of the child if the woman is already pregnant.
