A group of people are introduced to the group discussion event by Pete Kalu.
He makes the connections between the history of the transatlantic slave trade and the local Greater Manchester region.
The history of Africa and the brutality of the trade are often misrepresented. Pete introduces the museum curators and their perspective. Objects from Manchester Museum and Manchester Art Gallery are available to be interrogated.
